I gave in; I really couldn’t help myself.
I know, I have two pairs of socks in progress that I really want to have on my feet, and September is much farther along than my Hosta is, and it’s time to pick up that sweater again. Not to mention there are so very many things that needed doing this weekend that have nothing to do with knitting at all. There are many good reasons not to have started a new project.
But they’re so darn cute, and I do have a co-worker with a very pregnant wife… and so I thought, maybe I’ll just go look at the stash and see if I have any appropriate leftovers.
At which point, needless to say, any other plans for the weekend were doomed.
So, yeah. I’m not sure where Saturday went, but I have these…
The pattern is easy to reverse engineer if you’re familiar with basic sock construction, but it’s worthwhile to buy anyway. Partly because it’s entertaining and adorable, but also because excellence should be rewarded, and this is an easy way to contribute to a source of so very much excellence. And overwhelming temptation. And mysteriously vanishing weekends.
