B is for Brioche (and BRK and BRP)
B is not for lifeline, but I’m sure glad I was warned to use one. If it doesn’t look like there’s been much progress in the past few days, just know that many of those rows were knit more than once (per color). Several of them more than twice. Not the pattern’s fault –it’s all very clear. I just start thinking I understand things, and then I get cocky and stop paying attention and make stupid mistakes.
B is for Burning
For what was, embarrassingly, the first time this year, we used the Ball o’ Fire on Friday night. B could also be for the Beer we drank around the fire and the Best Buds who joined us. I didn’t take any pictures of it in action, so here’s Fierce Black Hound surveying the scene the morning after.
B is for Bacon Cups
Recipes are all over the internet, the one I saw first is here. Try it. Super fast and easy, just as delicious and way more fun than the more common method of consuming toast and bacon and eggs. The coffee, though –best to keep that on the side.
B is for Bicycling
28 flat miles on a club ride Sunday, then 53 miles with some hills by myself on Monday. Beautiful views all around.
B is for Blackberries
I know they’re an invasive species and all, but when you’re burning through glycogen and they’re growing sweet and ripe and wild along the path, it’s hard to be too worried about that. What native vegetation are they choking out that could possibly match their juicy offer?
And now, B is for Bedtime. How did you spend the long weekend? Anyone else find themselves with alliterative themes?
